Our Story Founded in 2015, S.O.A.R First was established to not only address the social and economical disparities evident in our community but to also address the emotional well-being of our youth. We wanted to encourage and empower the future leaders to understand who they are, what they will face in the world and equip them for success.
Mission
Our mission is to provide resources, create opportunities and develop skills for success for middle & high school students in at risk communities through mentoring, character development, healthy living, technology conferences, financial literacy events, creative arts, and community service.
Vision
To empower our underserved youth by identifying their potential, purpose and passion in life; honing their leadership skills; and providing opportunities for them to serve others.
Program
We host eight skill building conferences throughout the year. These conferences cover topics that focused on our values, self-confidence, self- value, academics, cultural awareness and health.
